Childwall Sixth Form Partners with Steven Gerrard Academy

Lydiate Learning Trust has announced a new partnership with the Steven Gerrard Academy (SGA). From September 2026, prospective SGA students will have the opportunity to study A-Levels at Childwall Sports and Science Academy and Deyes High School Sixth Forms alongside their athletic programmes.
Since its inception in 2011, SGA has become a premier institution for sporting excellence, with over 1,500 graduates pursuing successful careers across the North West and beyond.
Ann Stahler, CEO, Lydiate Learning Trust, said: “We are proud to partner with Steven Gerrard Academy and create this groundbreaking pathway for talented young athletes. This collaboration demonstrates our commitment to providing exceptional educational opportunities that support students in achieving their full potential, both academically and athletically.”
Dr. Thomas, Head of School, Childwall Sports and Science Academy, commented: “This partnership is a testament to the outstanding quality of teaching and learning across our Trust. We’re excited to welcome SGA students to Childwall Sixth Form and look forward to the fresh perspectives and opportunities this collaboration will bring to our entire learning community.”
Childwall Sixth Form offers a wide range of A-Level courses across humanities, sciences, mathematics, languages, and creative subjects. This extensive curriculum will enable SGA students to pursue their academic interests and career aspirations while continuing to develop their athletic talents.
